About Frontier Leather

Origin story

Frontier Leather began in a small Western Australian workshop, driven by a passion for crafting gear that matters. What started as a personal project — making rugged, functional leather goods that would hold up in the field — quickly turned into a way to help others represent their tribe, their team, and their values.

From early requests from mates to today’s orders from across Australia, every piece is still handcrafted using traditional methods and premium materials. No mass production, no shortcuts — just gear with meaning, built to endure.

Leather products and care

We predominantly use vegetable-tanned leather — selected for strength, durability, and character. All design, cutting, stamping, stitching, and finishing is done in-house.

To keep your leather in top condition, avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or moisture. Over time, gently bending or using your item helps it break in naturally. Apply a high-quality leather conditioner occasionally to maintain the softness and durability of your leather. Each piece may show natural marks or grain variations — these are part of its unique character, not imperfections.

Custom leather orders

To order a custom leather piece — such as a wallet, belt, patch, or notebook cover — please reach out to us via Instagram, Facebook, or email. Let us know what you’re after, and we’ll walk you through personalisation options including initials, logos, or custom emblems.

If your design requires a new brass stamp, we can help organise that too. You’ll also be able to select leather colour, thread type, sizing, and layout.

Please note: due to high demand, there may be a wait time of up to a few weeks before your order is accepted and started.
